Senior Pastor – Denver Street Missionary Baptist Church
Denver Street Missionary Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to shepherd and lead our congregation.
Position Overview
The Senior Pastor will serve as the primary spiritual leader of the church, providing biblical preaching, pastoral care, and servant leadership. He will equip the congregation for discipleship, foster unity across generations, and lead with clarity, humility, and conviction.
Key Responsibilities
- Preach and teach God's Word faithfully and clearly
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and visitation
- Lead in discipleship and evangelism
- Work collaboratively with church leadership
- Promote unity and spiritual growth across all age groups
Qualifications
- Meets the biblical qualifications of a pastor (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1)
- Affirms the doctrinal beliefs of the Baptist Missionary Association of America
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity, relational warmth, and servant leadership
- Pastoral experience preferred
- Strong supporter of Missions and Missionaries
- Forward-thinking with a desire and track record of church growth
